Brooklands Motor Vehicle Engineers is a family-owned, independent garage and MOT test centre. Based in Wootton, Northampton, we’ve been serving the local community for all their motoring needs for over 15 years.
Brooklands was founded in 1997 by me (Philip) with the vision of creating a garage guided by family values of honesty, helpfulness and a job well done. I was joined shortly after by my sister and business partner (Alison) and Brooklands has continue to serve the local community right up to the present day.
A lot has changed since the early days; the garage itself has doubled in size and the expert service provided by a growing staff of Brooklands mechanics has been enhanced by the latest computer diagnostics equipment. Despite this, we’re still very much a family business (half of our staff are family members) and, having lived in the local area all of our lives, looking after the local community is still a priority.
Instead of enticing customers in with a cheap MOT and stinging them with a hefty service bill, we’ve put profits into sponsoring local youth football teams, providing significant discounts to NHS staff, the armed forces and OAPs, and developing an apprenticeship scheme for young mechanics.
